Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella was born as a Dominican friars’ convent in Florence, Italy in 1221. Since then, we select nature’s finest ingredients to give life to authentic, beauty-seeking routines for the home and the body.
Come to any of our stores or shop online our newest Eau de Parfums, Eau de Colognes, soaps, candles and skincare and bath products. The historical location, of Via Della Scala 16, Florence and also the very first operational site for the Maison, it is today a boutique museum where history brings alive the magic with care, savoir-faire, elegance and we are committed to preserve, and evolve, a heritage like no other.

My favorite store in Tokyo closed down and I had to rely on mail order, but I was relieved to see that the Yokohama store was still open.

Unlike what others have described, the staff member was very polite, had a lovely smile, and was happy to find a scent I liked!

Despite it being a busy store, the female staff member was just as knowledgeable and pleasant as the staff in Florence. Even though I only bought toothpaste, I had a wonderful time. Thank you so much!

I had read the reviews so I was a little hesitant to pop in, but the male staff member was so helpful and I was able to find my favorite scent! I was so happy that he carefully searched for a perfume similar to the one I liked. Thank you!

I was served by a male staff member. It was the first time I'd ever been served by someone who was so sincere. I also felt very comfortable because he didn't push too hard. I think there was one bad review about the male staff member here, but I think it was too mean to give him a one-star rating without even noticing. He is very polite and sincere when serving customers, so I really trust him. I would like to visit again.

I was hesitant to go after reading other reviews, but on the day I went, I was served by two young staff members, both of whom had short hair. They were very attentive to me, even though I was a beginner, and it was very helpful. I thought I'd leave a review in case there are others who are hesitant to go like me. (However, I didn't encounter the staff members that other people have mentioned, so it might just be luck...)
