Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella was born as a Dominican friars’ convent in Florence, Italy in 1221. Since then, we select nature’s finest ingredients to give life to authentic, beauty-seeking routines for the home and the body.
Come to any of our stores or shop online our newest Eau de Parfums, Eau de Colognes, soaps, candles and skincare and bath products. The historical location, of Via Della Scala 16, Florence and also the very first operational site for the Maison, it is today a boutique museum where history brings alive the magic with care, savoir-faire, elegance and we are committed to preserve, and evolve, a heritage like no other.

The pharmacy was great, but the sacristy exhibit was even better. It's a shame I couldn't stay longer so that other visitors to the shop could enjoy it. And congratulations to Giorgia for her magnificent explanation of the sacristy and the history of perfumes, which made the visit truly exceptional. She deserves a 10 out of 10.

Highly commercialized but it's soooo pretty inside. It's fun to look through and test the different products and smell different scents. Staff inside were all friendly. Even if you are not getting anything, it's still a nice place to brows around and appreciate the beautiful interior.
